The staff of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota (CGMC), Minnesota Agrigrowth, and the Range Association of Municipalities and Schools (RAMS) hosted this webinar to discuss recent developments regarding the implementation of the Wild Rice Sulfate Rule. During the discussion, presenters explained what the Wild Rice Sulfate Rule is and how the implementation could affect your wastewater facility. Staff then turned to recent regulatory activity and the work that our collective groups have been doing on this issue, along with recent changes announced by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). The webinar concluded with some high-level advice on what permittees should be doing.
